He was born
and raised in Memphis Tennessee in a family where athletics
and other extra curricular activities played a major role in
their everyday lives. Both his mother and sister were
cheerleaders when they were in school. Being that his father
was a football coach at the high school both his sister and
brother attended, he found himself to always be around the
cheerleaders. He began cheering when he was in the 7th
Grade at Snownden Middle School where he was the first and
only male cheerleader in school’s history. After cheering
there for two years, he went to competitive dance. He danced
for an allstar team in Memphis, where he was given the
opportunity to explore the world of choreography. He did
choreography for East High School, Earle High School,
Snowden Middle School, as well as many of the Hip Hop Boot
Camps. Upon entering college at Tennessee State University,
he was asked to tryout for the co ed cheer squad. After
making the team, his coach noticed that he had an eye for
creative choreography. He was then hired to work his “Back
to Basics” cheer camps where he choreographed routines for
both middle schools and high schools that attended the
camps. Since then, he has done choreography for Tennessee
State University and McGavock High School. He continues to
sharpen my creative eye by surrounding himself with people
that are very creative and inspirational such as those at
PrimeTyme Athletics.
