Instruction and Lessons
Tumbling Our tumbling classes are divided by skill levels as follows: Ø Level 1 – Beginner tumbling: basic body control, cartwheels, round-offs, front-walkovers, back-walkovers, standing back-handsprings, etc. Ø Level 2 – Series tumbling: round-off back-handsprings and back-handspring series, standing back-handspring series, toe touch back-handsprings, basic tuck drills, etc. Ø Level 3 – Tucks: round-off tucks, round-off back-handspring tucks, round-off series tucks, standing tucks, standing back-handspring tucks, standing series tucks, punch front tucks, layouts, etc. Ø Level 4 – Advanced tumbling: full twisting layouts, double twisting layouts, toe touch tucks, standing fulls, standing back-handspring fulls/doubles, standing series fulls/doubles, etc. Advancement to the next level is at the sole discretion of the tumbling coach. Mommy & Me Classes are inter-active creative movement
classes and are designed to allow parents to assist the very
youngest movers through their first cheer class experience!
These classes incorporate basic coordination exercises,
pre-tumbling, music appreciation and flexibility exercises.
Cheer Technique classes cover basic cheer and dance motions ,as well as jump techniques. These skills help prepare cheerleaders for school tryouts. Classes are offered directly after level one tumble classes for convenience.
Co-ed stunt classes are for anyone interested in learning co-ed stunting for college. This class is taught by Darius Lindsey, assistant coach for MTSU's nationally ranked cheerleaders!
Prime Tyme trains school squads from Sumner, Davidson, Cheatham, and Robertson Counties. We offer our high quality instruction at a squad-discounted price. For more information, contact Katie Lindsey, gym manager.
Choreography and Custom Mixed Music We offer custom game-ready and competition choreography camps! Each camp includes 10 hours of instruction and custom mixed music. Game-Ready camps focus on pep rally and half-time material. These camps are tailored to the squad's needs and include original music. Competition camps provide your choice of a 2 1/2 minute all-music routine or 1 1/2 minute music/ 1 minute cheer routine, both complete with custom mixed music. Music mixing is also available for your own routines!! For more information on choreography or music, please contact Sarah Smith.
Prime Tyme also offers private lessons for students currently enrolled in gym classes. These lessons are priced and scheduled by individual instructors. A private lesson is a one-on-one, focusing on the specific skills needed or requested.

Birthday PartiesLet Prime Tyme celebrate with you on your birthday! Invite 10 or more of your friends and enjoy our gym facilities. Parties are scheduled for 2 hours. The price is $10 per child (birthday child is free). We'll provide a cake for an additional charge and you supply the drinks and paper products. Each party will have a staff member present.
