General Information
- All-star
cheerleading combines dance with the standard elements of
cheerleading: chants, jumps, stunting, and tumbling. All
of this is choreographed into a 2˝ minute routine set to
fast paced music.
- Prime Tyme’s
greatest strength is a quality coaching staff. Our coaches
have trained many National Championship squads and are on
the cutting edge of learning and teaching new skills and
choreography.
- Prime Tyme All-star
cheerleading provides these young athletes the opportunity
to learn, understand, and practice teamwork, gain strength -
both inner and physical - and dedicate themselves to
achieving positive self-esteem through hard work and
commitment.
- All-star
cheerleading teams are trained to compete against other
all-star cheer teams. Whereas, recreational and school
sponsored cheer teams may or may not compete and cheer for
other sports such as: football or basketball.
- All-star
cheerleading is a sport that requires a great deal of
training. Our squads typically practice 4-5 hours per
week.
Competitive
Season
Prime Tyme's competitive season runs
September through April for the all-star program.
However, all-star teams practice all spring and summer before
the season begins. The
competitive season ends with national competitions for each
team.
